Welcome to Sovereign Order of Axiom Knights

  Axiom Knights is about self-discovery and understanding of oneself in the universe as it is understanding our position overall in the universe in the world. An axiom is about seeking the greater truth in all things including oneself. As we seek to understand our place in the world and the reality of things. It is a spiritual religious pursuit as we learn and understand such things. That one of the greatest pursuits of all things is seeking truth in understanding, and understanding in truth. Which will require us to approach and question our own perceptions, that truth will stand scrutiny. That if a truth that cannot stand scrutiny it is not an axiom, can a true Axiom should never fear scrutiny. 

We will work as diplomats. We will become experts on many different areas, working with other state to improve the world.

  Axioms Knights seek universal truths, and being an Axiom Knight is about being a knight of Truth! And in that quest for Truth where it exist, from all sources. 

For Example;

For those who never got it - If you Immediately know the candle light is fire, then the meal was cooked along time ago means...
"... you already have the answer, you just don't know it."

The story is about a man who wants to cook some food on his stove, when he comes home in the evening after a full day of work. In his dark hut, he uses his only source of light, a paraffin lantern, to try to locate his matches to start the fire. He looks in his closest, opening the doors and peering inside, the lantern lighting the way. But they are not there.

He goes to the firewood box, and opens it, using the lantern to light the innards - but the matches are not inside.

The shadows of the logs flicker on the wall as he does so.

He goes outside to the latrine - perhaps he left the matches there when he smoked his pipe yesterday? But alas, they are not there either.

Ripples and small waves shimmer in the light of the lantern, as the pale of water is moved about to search for the small sticks.

He looks in his drawers, his coat, his cloak and all the boxes or pouches he can find in his dark hut - using the lantern to light the way.

But the matches are no where to be found.

Hungry, frustrated and tired the man goes to sleep ready for his early start and long hours tomorrow at work.

Axiom Knights can be considered a religion as seeks the understanding of ones place in the universe, ones affect on the universe, and ones connection to the universe. My use of the words Universe includes the divine, as they are one in the same or at-least interconnected. The definition of religion is not easy to find. There are many interpretations of what defines a religion but not one that can be said to be the most accurate. 

Some of them are:

A strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny.

An institution to express belief in a divine power.

A belief concerning the supernatural, sacred, or divine, and the practices and institutions associated with such belief.

The sum total of answers given to explain humankind’s relationship with the universe.

In dictionaries, religion is defined as “any specific system of belief, worship, or conduct that prescribes certain responses to the existence (or non-existence) and character of God.” Also, “a set of attitudes, beliefs, and practices pertaining to supernatural power of the divine.”  The definition of religion in and of itself denotes peace and reconciliation. Religion does not encourage people to “stop thinking”. In fact, religion encourages people to think about how they can re-bind themselves or re-connect with a divinity who is infinitely more intelligent and loving.

We need more people to understand the correct definition of religion and the ultimate meaning of the word religion. The word religion comes from the Latin and while there are a few different translations, the most prevalent roots take you back to the Latin word “Re-Ligare”. “Ligare” means “to bind” or to “connect”.  Adding the “re” before “ligare” causes the word to mean “Re-Bind” or “Re-Connect.”

Therefore Axiom Knights is a religion as we seek to bind and connect with the Universe/Divinity seeking the greater truths of everything. Even as a Philosophy which is literally the love of wisdom, also including divine wisdom.There was practical wisdom, an understanding of how to live life well and ethically. And, for Aristotle, there was a wisdom that brought people closer to divine rationality, ‘sophia’ in Greek. This wisdom was for thinking about questions such as the nature of the divine, ethics or the function of the state. Wisdom involves a passion for life, not just for our own well being and success but for the well being of others and the world.

The noun philosophy means the study of proper behavior, and the search for wisdom.

The original meaning of the word philosophy comes from the Greek roots philo- meaning "love" and -sophos, or "wisdom." When someone studies philosophy they want to understand how and why people do certain things and how to live a good life. In other words, they want to know the meaning of life. Add the suffix -er to philosophy, and you get a word for someone whose job it is to think these big thoughts. As Axiom Knights are Philosophers, as axiom ax·i·om being a noun meaning:

a statement or proposition which is regarded as being established, accepted, or self-evidently true. We seek the greatest truths and understanding of life, universe, and everything.
